The brought it over a few nights ago, and it is a beautiful F-35. I have the serial number, but was wondering if a serial number lookup was. It is a Fender Coronado II Bass It is a hollow body with F holes. I don't know wich one is the correct serial #. It has 3 ID #s. 1 is on the Butt of Neck: 200CT67B. I have I Fender F-35 that I got form my grandfather when I was a little boy. I wanted to see what year model it was but the printed serial number says that it is pre-cbs. I read on a forum that when cbs bought out fender that some of the serial numbers over lapped, but they put a L at the beginning of the serial number. Fender F 35 Serial Numbers
The F-45 was unavailable from the later part of 1978 and then in 1979 the 'F' Series Flat Top range was extended even further with 2 more guitars added to the range. The 1979 Fender catalogue only refers to the range as Flat Tops and not the 'F' Series, however the price list from that year does.

The FJ 70 Jumbo was the only guitar in the range to be finished in a rich Tobacco Sunburst finish. It featured an aged solid Sitka Spruce top. The fingerboard had deluxe crown position markers.
In 1980 the 'F' Series Flat Top range was increased with the addition of a cheaper range of acoustics, some of which were Korean made.
